We all know we have Jacquemus to thank for the rise of the gargantuan beach hat. Now almost every high-profile label has thrown their own larger-than-life versions into the ring. But summer hats don’t have to be made of straw or the circumference of a crop circle to make our wishlist. (Although we still covet those oversized silhouettes.)
From bucket hats to fun fedoras to classic baseball caps, there are lots of hats on the market right now. As if that wasn’t enough, 2019’s must-have item, aka the visor, is still on the sartorial menu. We love a good neutral, especially the raffia variety. But we’re also craving patterns this season. Think ombré, florals and more abstract offerings. We’re also favoring pops of color. Think neon green, pastels and summery yellow. We’re also including red and maroon, however, which will take you right into fall. These toppers are guaranteed to elevate any outfit, even a basic T-shirt and cutoffs combo.
