Today, in celebration of the fact that Vogue is about 8.3 times as old as theFashionSpot, the inimitable Karl Lagerfeld released a limited-edition line of romantic, summery dresses. As the name implies, the Karl Lagerfeld Paris for Lord & Taylor x Vogue 125 collection is available exclusively at Lord & Taylor (or, more specifically, The Dress Address). Each design incorporates Vogue’s newly appointed signature flower, the American Beauty rose (as seen in the hit Kevin Spacey film). The floral-printed crepe slip dress and its cold-shoulder iteration are our personal faves.
For those not familiar with Lagerfeld’s many, many brands, consider “Paris” a synonym for “actually affordable.” Each of the 10 chic, cheery dresses in the collection costs between $148 and $198. Those on the higher end of the price spectrum are best suited to formal occasions (weddings, cocktail parties). The aforementioned printed slips are, as Vogue puts it, “great for a trip to the farmers’ market” when “paired with sneakers and a straw basket.”
Happy 125th anniversary, Vogue…and happy summer wardrobe shopping, everyone else. Click through the gallery below to peruse the collection.
