As Kendall and Kylie mature, their taste in clothing becomes more sophisticated. It follows that, like fine wine, their myriad clothing lines grow better with each passing season — we actually loved their latest Nordstrom collab. Today, we again found ourselves drooling over a Kendall & Kylie kollection. The Jenner sisters’ chic Holiday 2016 line for California-cool retailer PacSun just hit shelves, and it definitely transcends the teen store’s core demographic.
There’s a lace-up corduroy skirt ($39.95) straight out of cult brand Reformation’s 70s-influenced Camille Rowe collab. Another A-line mini ($36.95), this time in tweed, speaks to Kendall Jenner’s many laps on the Chanel runways. A chevron mock neck pullover ($49.95) that’s vaguely Gucci-reminiscent sits among the affordable 19-piece collection. Then there are the failsafe nods to the Nineties: slip dresses, distressed mom jeans, lettuce hems, satin bombers, plaid leggings.
While we can all agree that the trend-savvy sisters are excellent first responders, we eagerly await the day when Ken and Ky spread their sartorial wings and truly surprise us. In the meantime, though, we can’t fault the girls’ takes on current trends.
