Pompoms
Each season has a must-have detailing, which is often the type of trend you look back at in a couple of years and think, “Did I really wear that?!” Fall 2014’s just so happens to be the pompom, and as crazy as it sounds, the runways were loving it. One of our favourites was definitely House of Holland, where loud pompoms took centre stage upon the front of shoes. Well, who better to start an out-there trend, right?

Electric Blue
The colour of the season is set to be electric blue, meaning our dark, wintry ensembles will be finished with a bright pop of colour. Textured Trainers
The fashion world’s love affair with creating trendy sportswear continues, and for the season ahead, trainers have been texturized. Think pony skin or velvet in just around every colour possible! Keep it classic with our fourth pick, Topshop’s classic black fur slip on skaters (£20).

Statement Boots
Almost anything goes with boots this season in order to make a statement. So, expect plenty of glitter making for the perfect occasion boot, animal prints transforming our daily go-tos and backless versions (like Alexander Wang‘s take), which will take you from day to night, but could also leave you a bit chilly.
