Make no mistake there’s been zero shortage of show-stopping fashion (and cinematic) moments on the Lido di Venezia for the 2024 Venice Film Festival, which has been a-go since August 28. Thus far, the 81st annual film festival has bestowed upon us a whole plethora of megawatt red carpet appearances. Moments of glory have gone to the likes of Cate Blanchett (oozing pure unapologetic glamour in Giorgio Armani Privé), Nicole Kidman arriving on the lido in a sculptural Schiaparelli creation and Emily Ratajkowski, who unearthed an archival Gucci design, designed by Tom Ford for his last Fall 2004 collection.
Day six, today, has most definitely been a one for the books, marking the buzz-worthy premiere of Pedro Almodóvar’s highly-anticipated The Room Next Door.
