Rihanna and Cara Delevingne Slay the ‘Valerian’ Red Carpet (Yet Again)

OK, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets may not be getting the best reviews. (“[It] feels as if it were made up on the spot, by someone so delighted by the gaudy genre packaging at his disposal that he lost track of what was supposed to be inside,” wrote one scathing New York Times movie critic.) Still, we can, at the very least, enjoy the beauty that is Cara Delevingne and Rihanna’s requisite press tour.

At the film’s L.A. premiere, Rihanna hit the red carpet in a jaw-dropping Giambattista Valli couture gown — a custom number done in pale princess pink. Delevingne wore a slinky silver Iris van Harpen dress; the crowd went wild.

Next, the pair took on London, where Rihanna wore a gown by the same designer, this one red and even more boob-tastic. Delevingne opted for a custom Burberry suit topped off with a crystal capelet (arguably her second-best red carpet suit look ever, the first being her silver-headed Met Gala appearance).

At the most recent premiere in Paris on Tuesday, Rihanna went all out again, this time in a tasseled, fringed, pale pink Prada two-piece that perfectly matched her fuzzy Charlotte Olympia sandals, 60s-style Cutler and Gross sunglasses and sparkly Christian Louboutin clutch. She topped off the look with dangly Chopard earrings and a XIVKARATS anklet. (Just, all the trends.) On her face, the singer wore Fenty Beauty, her upcoming makeup line, due out this fall(!).

Delevingne continued her fashion marathon in a plunging Alexander Vaultier couture gown that Bella Hadid once struggled to keep in place on the catwalk. Thankfully, no wardrobe malfunctions occurred in either case.
