The 10 Most Memorable Red Carpet Moments from the 2016 Grammy Awards

1. Taylor Swift’s bob

Taylor Swift unveilved a new ‘do on carpet, which is sure to secure her a top-trending spot on Twitter for the next 24 hours. That and her wins, of course.

2. Aussie musicians repped

Australian natives Courtney Barnett and Tame Impala walked the highly prestigious red rug, with Courtney up for Best New Artist and Tame up for Best Alternative Music Album. Tame has done the Grammys thing before, but tonight was Courtney’s first time. Pretty bloody exciting.

3. Zendaya rocked a mullet

Props to Zendaya for repping a gutsy mullet at this year’s award ceremony, along with her andro-chic suit. Her hair has always made waves on the red carpet (including the time Giuliana Rancic said her Oscars 2015 hair smelled like “weed”) and we’re sure she’ll divide hair stylists with this one. You can’t deny it’s 100 percent BOSS, though.

4. Ghost kept up their shtick

Ghost’s prosthetic-wearing vocalist was once again joined by his entourage of mouthless demons. It doesn’t get any less scary every time we see it.

5. Hollywood Vamps whipped it real good

Other than the fact that the Hollywood Vamps looked like straight up bounty hunters, Alice Cooper’s whip is really the greatest accessory we’ve seen on the carpet all night. Also, Johnny Depp. There’s that too.

6. The next-levels

It wouldn’t be the Grammys without some naked dresses and just downright crazy getups.

7. Taylor Swift served up déjà vu

Taylor Swift’s colour blocking looked pretty darn similar to Kimberly Schlapman of Little Big Town’s and, well, Bianca look-at-me-look-at-me Stratford’s prom dress.

8. Justin Bieber’s little bro

This is just too seh-weet. Justin can totally go and love himself for bringing along his little bro to the Grammys, who delivered so much swag. Can we please see so much more of this little guy?

9. Lady Gaga’s David Bowie tribute

With her Bowie tribute coming later tonight, Lady Gaga went all out paying homage to the late musician and gamechanger on the red carpet as well. From the fire-red ‘do to the (holy moly) avant-garde heels, she did a solid job at channeling Ziggy Stardust himself.
