Plenty of people would describe Beyoncé as a queen, but just as many wouldn’t use the word “fashion icon” to describe her. Back in July, The New York Times‘ Vanessa Friedman declared Beyoncé “a legend of rock, but not fashion.” Fair enough. Beyoncé may not get the same sartorial acclaim as her younger, über stylish sister, but at the end of the day, she’s still Beyoncé and we are mere mortals.
Though Bey may not be particularly admired for her outfits, we think that the singer has pulled off more than her fair share of cute ensembles.
