There are a few models who have been shooting tons of editorials lately, more than anyone else. They’re scooping up both quantity and quality bookings. Locking in the best magazines guarantees a high exposure rate, which leads to more campaign bookings. Clients are more interested in someone who has appeared in VOGUE four times in two months (you gotta give it to the Dynamic Daria) than the top catwalkers.
Then there’s the 80’s and 90’s supermodel comeback— Amber, Claudia, Gisele, Kate are as coveted as ever, and they can generate more hoopla than an unknown 18 year old. The oldies will surely be back in some top notch campaigns as per usual.
