Get the Look: Celeb-Inspired Peaches and Cream

Sometimes it’s the little touches that take your outfit from average to enviable. Celebrities have stylists to calculate all the complicated nuances of putting together a look, but we aren’t all so fortunate. Luckily, tFS has put together some celeb-inspired styling tips and tricks to help give your look that extra oomph! This week, stars show you three inspired ways to rock summer’s neutral palette—without fading into the background.

Tip #1: Mix in Some Faded Denim like Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz has been a whirlwind of style successes as she promotes her new summer flick Bad Teacher. Stopping by the studios of Good Morning America, she traded the creamy blazer she wore over her nude wrap skirt and white top on set with a cropped light wash denim jacket for a more casual look. Her strappy nude heels created legs for days, and her oversized Chanel bag and gold bangles were chic accessories which stuck to the neutral palette.

1. Topshop BLC Denim ¾ Crop Jacket – $80; 2. Twenty8Twelve by s.miller Eugene High-Waisted Cotton-Canvas Skirt – $67.25; 3. Seychelles Best of II Sandal – $79.95; 4. Peach Bellini Skirt – $59

Tip #2: Put a Summery Spin on a Peach Pantsuit like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is also on a fashion tour promoting the soon-to-be summer blockbuster Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Leaving the Howard Stern Show, she put a summery spin on the classic pastel pantsuit by ditching the jacket and opting for head-to-toe peach silk and pointy pumps. The ultra-feminine look was given a 70s vibe with her addition of tinted aviators.

1. Pins and Needles Side-Tie Trouser – $59; 2. Squint Topshop Yellow Plastic Keyhole Aviator Sunglasses – $45; 3. Kain Washed-Silk Tank – $155; 4. American Apparel Chiffon Camisole in Apricot – $26

Tip #3: Pair Tie-Dye and White for a Boho-Chic Neutral Look like Abigail Breslin’s

It may seem impossible for tie-dye and neutral to coexist, but as Abigail Breslin showed at a party for the premiere of The Art of Getting By, pairing a taupe tie-dye cardigan with a white A-line full skirt makes for a neutral look that’s more boho-chic than psychedelic. The 14-year-old actress finished the look with nude platform peeptoes, but a tan leather sandal would take this look to the boardwalk.

1. J. Crew Silk-Linen Tie Dye Cardigan – $98;  2. Vila Oversize Tie Dye Chiffon Shirt – $22.41;  3. Sparkle & Fade Linen Pull-On Skirt – $29.99
