Nicole Richie: Style Star

Nicole Richie is the ultimate chameleon. She’s gone from being a wild child – who remembers The Simple Life? – to starting her own clothing and jewelry label; she’s shown up looking ultra glamorous to court dates, given birth to two children, and completely transformed her style from embellished streetwear to luxe bohemian. We fell in love with her long gowns, Rachel Zoe-esque supersized glasses and hippie jewelry, and clothing from her own label, House of Harlow; we’ve watched her become a fashion icon. Her latest style endeavor, the wispy shaggy bob, is sure to inspire many to chop off their locks. Below are our picks of Nicole’s best looks.

While pregnant, Nicole frequently favored this bohemian combination: a long printed dress paired with a cropped denim jacket. As usual, she completed the look with big round sunglasses. Nicole channeled Audrey Hepburn on her way into court with a sleek up-do, Jackie O-style sunglasses, and classic black shift dress.

Nicole showed off her slim physique and growing sense of style, with her cat-eye sunglasses and red Chloe handbag. She looked gorgeous at the Academy Awards, complementing her sequined gown with a ballerina bun.

Carrying the cutest accessory of them all, her daughter Harlow, Nicole rocked LA style with a tie-dye singlet and denim cut offs. She oozed old Hollywood glamour, and managed to disguise her baby bump, with this flowing paisley printed gown.

Nicole loves her shorts, and with good reason – she looks fantastic in them! Here, she added a touch of leopard, with a fantastic fedora hat and blue velvet shorts. She looked great walking around town in this bright blue dress, while she showed off her chic new bob. A killer pair of heels took her look from boho to sleek!

Out lunching with friends this week, Nicole went for her signature boho chic look with a printed dress, pretty braids and a chic Chanel bag. In a stunning wedding dress by Marchesa and high ballerina bun, Nicole looked like a princess on her big day.
