As soon as John Galliano was dismissed from Dior, the rumor mill got busy grinding out gossip about who would replace the designer at the historic fashion house. For the past few days, most of the speculation has been swirling around Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz. The Moroccan-born Israeli designer is celebrated by critics and beloved by the fashion world not just for his exquisite clothing, but also for his charm.
