Forum Members React to Kim Jones Departing Dior Men as Creative Director

The world of fashion continues to evolve. The game of musical chairs within the industry shows zero signs of slowing down. Right now, all eyes are on Christian Dior. Earlier this month, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez exited Proenza Schouler. The pair are rumored to be heading to Loewe upon the alleged imminent departure of Jonathan Anderson. Anderson is believed to be leaving his post at Loewe to head up Christian Dior. Today, one week after the Dior Men Fall 2025 presentation, Kim Jones has exited Dior Men as creative director. Jones has been the creative force behind Dior Men since 2018, and exited his post as Fendi womenswear creative director last last year. “I express my deep gratitude to my studio and the ateliers who have accompanied me on this wonderful journey,” said Jones in a statement.

Any guesses where the British designer (awarded the Légion d’Honneur this week in Paris) will end up next?

“Jonathan Anderson is headed to Dior 100% percent. Speak to anyone in the design team at Dior and they’ve all been briefed on his arrival later this year. Worst kept secret in Paris!” [Frederic01]

“I imagine they will announce the Jonathan-to-Dior/Proenza-to-Loewe movement very soon.” [Monsieur Cristobal]

“I’m happy that Kim Jones’ era of fashion is coming to a close. It was depressing how basic and soulless things can be.” [Kimihiro]

“Kim Jones is the worst! So shocking to know he already has Burberry lined up for him.” [90sFan]
