Frequently, February covers can be a bit hit or miss. After all once the holidays are over, many publications are just biding their time until it’s time to print their spring preview issues. But the February 2022 magazine covers are actually pretty interesting. Why exactly? Well, for a variety of reasons.
First and foremost, there’s a decent amount of diversity. (Of course, there always could be more.) Although British Vogue’s tribute to models of African descent stirred up a bit of controversy.
On the styling front, we naturally expected lots of red and really romantic ensembles. With Valentine’s Day coming and all. When in reality, a majority of the outfits seem frankly better suited to summer. Apparently, we’re leapfrogging right over spring.
The beauty looks are also a mixed bag. We’re talking everything from slicked-back locks to pastel makeup and even moody lips. A couple mags took a more fresh-faced approach with barely-there makeup. Which also felt far more summer-appropriate.
So are you ready to see which mags made an impression (both good and bad)? Then go ahead and keep reading to see all the February 2022 magazine covers we adored. Along with the ones that let us down.
