The countdown to New York Fashion Week Spring 2020 is on and while we can’t predict what looks designers will be sending down the runways, one thing’s for sure. The bags will be epic. How do we know? Because Bvlgari partnered with Alexander Wang on a new collection featuring its iconic Serpenti Forever Bag.
It’s an interesting pairing, but on some level, totally makes sense. Wang’s the king of mixing cool silhouettes with classic elements and Bvlgari is the epitome of luxury, from fine jewelry to perfume.
“When Bvlgari approached me to collaborate, I knew I wanted to create something that focused on the everyday overlooked items when purchasing luxury goods and transform it into something desirable for a global consumer of all ages,” the designer explained.
The limited-edition handbag collection revolves around six different styles, including a belt bag and shopping tote. There’s even a vintage-inspired serpent head jewel accent straight from the 50s. Whether you’re into the ever-popular snakeskin or prefer mint green, Bvlgari x Alexander Wang has you covered.
