Woke fashion brands are becoming more aware of everything from environmental ethics and worker rights to diversity and inclusion. Yet there are still brands that refuse to change and continue to maintain the status quo. Reformation continues to set an example for the industry by being transparent with its sustainable impact standards, supporting circular fashion by turning used clothes into shopping credits, and recently releasing a sustainable swimwear collection and plus-size denim collection. Now, Reformation is answering the call for more size-inclusive clothing options by releasing a permanent plus-size collection.
“Last year we started receiving a lot of comments on social media and requests from customers for more inclusive sizing,” Reformation said in a release. “We agree it’s unfair that we only offer clothing to a limited size range and have been working on changing this. We’re now happy to be launching a collection with more sizes (0-22). We’re super sorry we didn’t do it sooner.”
Reformation’s new collection caters to sizes 1x-3x and 14-24, and features 18 of the brand’s most popular designs, including flowy sundresses, wrap dresses and floral midi skirts.
Reformation’s extended sizes collection runs from $48 to $278 and is already available online. Some styles already have a waitlist, proving there will always be a demand for stylish plus-size clothes.
