It’s not for nothing that Brazilian bombshell Alessandra Ambrosio is one of the world’s most recognizable models. The 37-year-old mom of two has walked the runways for almost 20 years, including once while pregnant and once just three months post-partum. And with nearly 10 million Instagram followers, Ambrosio is clearly still at the top of her game. In town to promote her new campaign launch for LASCANA, a German swim, lingerie and active brand now available in the U.S., we sat down with the supermodel and asked her our quickfire questions.
- The first thing I do in the morning is… kiss my kids.
- The last thing I googled was… looking for a hotel where I could vacation.

- My guilty pleasure is… that’s tough! It’s hard to choose between french fries or cupcakes.
- When I have a big blemish the day before a photoshoot… I have an amazing facialist in Los Angeles so I would go see her for an emergency treatment, but I’m not telling you who she is! I need to keep her a secret for her to be available for me!
- When it comes to working out… I love beach volleyball.
- A career achievement I’m dying to check off is… I don’t know about that!
- If you looked at my desktop you’d see… a picture of me and my kids.
- My most memorable travel experience was… there were so many! It’s hard to pick, but last year I went with my family to French Polynesia and my daughter got to swim with the sharks. She was the only one who wasn’t afraid! The rest of us got to swim with the stingrays. It was just the most beautiful place ever.
- I’m dying to splurge on… hmm … let me think … a car!
- One thing I wish I could change about the fashion industry is… making it more inclusive and have people not take it so seriously.
- My favorite place to shop is… I love going to Elyse Walker because it’s right next to my kids’ school so I can actually go before I pick them up. It’s easy and they have a lot of great things.
- The best advice for looking great in a photo is… be yourself and be as natural as possible.
- My most treasured possessions are… my kids!
- My biggest fashion regret is… there are many, but I don’t really remember anything specifically…maybe for the better!
- One thing I wish people knew about me is… I get shy when I have to speak in public.
