What Raf Simons has brought to Jil Sander is immeasurable. He has a unique ability to make even structured, geometric, powerful looks feel soft and flowing. This season the designer saw himself inspired by Angelina Jolie and her role in the film, “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.”
While nearly every look was high on wearability, the designer could have done without the plaid, and I was disappointed that there weren’t more cocktail options, especially given the endless parade of beautiful looks the designer showed for his Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
