Few films have been as highly anticipated by the fashion and beauty communities as the upcoming Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland remake, which hits theaters on March 5th.
The most exciting partnership, however, has got to be the one with Tom Binns (he was actually one of the first designers approached to create an Alice in Wonderland-inspired collection). The talented designer created some of the most stunning pieces of costume jewelry he’s ever done, and in an interview with Vogue UK he said that he spent a great deal of time researching the “psychology of the story and what Alice means as a character to adults, and what she means as a character to children. It is totally different as a child’s imagination is something us adults used to have, but have forgotten.”
The collection featured 40 pieces mainly inspired by the White Queen, the Mad Hatter, the Red Queen, the Tea Party and the Cheshire Cat.
