TWENTY8TWELVE LONDON F/W 2010

Despite the backlash after last season’s runway presentation, Sienna and Savannah Miller are back this season with another collection for their label Twenty8Twelve, and they are back with a new state of mind. Determined to prove the press wrong, the sisters showed their eclectic bohemian collection in a beautiful room over looking the Thames in a classic tableau vivant.

It is important to remember with Twenty8Twelve that the price point is relatively low, and the target market is not that of the average fashion week collection consumer. Despite being styled by Francesca Burns, it seemed that the pieces needed an injection of personality, and would be better suited mixed-and-matched with classic silhouettes.

With inspirations ranging from glam rock to the wilds of Scotland, the collection, while a bit scattered, had a few stand out pieces that fit in perfectly with the designers’ own personal style. Friends and stylish supporters like Matthew Williamson, Katie Grand, and Twiggy attended, and this season’s show seemed to go off without a hitch.
