Unlike her designs on Project Runway, Momolu decided in this collection to concentrate more on rich solid oranges, burgundys, browns, and beiges, rather than the foliage prints she was known for on the show. Versatile looks included scarves than could convert into hooded shrugs, belted sweater dresses that could function as unique separates, and multifunctional coats that could serve as a dress or outer garment.
What was also great about this Fall 2010 Collection is that the loose-fitting garments can be worn by a variety of women. Though the venue for Momolu’s debut was less than ideal, there was a lot of retail value in the collection, and judging by the the audience reception, Korto Momolu scored an out-of-the-ballpark hit.
