Kylie Jenner Smacked With Yet Another Lawsuit, This One Related to Her New E! Series

In today’s episode of keeping up with the Kardashian-related lawsuits, Kylie Jenner has been hit with yet another copyright infringement claim, this one related to her yet-to-air solo series, Life of Kylie.

TMZ reports that British artist Sarah Pope is suing Jenner and NBC Universal (E!’s parent company) over one of Life of Kylie’s promo graphics. The image in question shows a well-glossed, neon-outlined mouth biting its lip. Pope claims that Jenner, et al. bit off (sorry) her 2012 work “Temptation Neon,” which just so happens to be one of the artist’s most famous pieces. According to TMZ’s sources, a third party created the offending lip bite image and Jenner “had nothing to do with the process.”

Jenner’s legal team is certainly earning their keep. In the past two months, the makeup mogul has been accused of stealing other creatives’ work on (counting Pope’s suit) three separate occasions. In early June, Tizita Balemlay of PluggedNYC took Jenner to task for allegedly copying her brand’s camo separates. Weeks later came that memorable “vintage” tee fiasco, wherein Jenner and her sister Kendall used images of deceased rappers without consulting the photographers or estates.
