What do James Corden and Victoria Beckham have in common? A love of 1987 film Mannequin, apparently. For Thursday’s episode of The Late Late Show, the fashion designer and talk show host reimagined the oddly premised Andrew McCarthy-Kim Cattrall classic. Becks — who’s not exactly known for her animated nature, and knows it — played the mannequin; Corden took on McCarthy’s role. The resulting skit is equal parts bizarre and hilarious.
Needless to say, Corden’s writers managed to work some Carpool Karaoke into the mix (along with an obligatory promo for Beckham’s new Target collab). Prepare to feel some serious 90s nostalgia as the mannequin better known as Posh Spice summons her neglected lip-synching skills for “Spice Up Your Life.”
