Kim Kardashian has experience designing childenswear (see: Kardashian Kids). As does Kanye West (see: those itty-bitty Boosts). Together they’ve made adorable children. And now, they’re making adorable (fancy) children’s clothes.
Per Kardashian tradition, on Tuesday night Kim took to Snapchat to share the news that her first formal design collaboration with Kanye will come in the form of a kids’ clothing line. Details are scarce — though we do know the range is “coming soon” and will include a Vetements-esque sequined dress and Yeezy-style shearling coat.
As a very proud Kim revealed in the Snap, three-year-old North West, model and informal creative director of the line, picked out the color and fabric for said pieces. (She went with yellow and shearling. Northie’s never not on-trend.)
From the looks of it, Kimye’s clothing line will be more high-end (and even less age-appropriate) than Kardashian Kids, known for its many pleather and leopard print offerings. Expect shrunken versions of Kim and Kanye’s designer wardrobe staples at (semi-)accessible price points. (Kanye’s toddler-sized Yeezy Boost 350s retailed for $120 — a significantly higher price point than most kids’ sneakers, but a modest sum compared to the price of a full-grown pair.)
That said, we’re definitely looking forward to more mommy-and-me moments like the one below and will be paying extra close attention to what Northie and Saint are wearing this coming fashion month.
