There’s one thing we learned at Paris Men’s Fashion Week this season: It’s a model’s world and we just live in it. For Spring 2016, Kendall Jenner and Naomi Campbell stole the spotlight at Givenchy, Alessandra Ambrosio made a cameo at Balmain’s first men’s fashion show and Pierce Brosnan’s son Dylan became the talk of the town at Saint Laurent, where Azzedine Alaïa, Jane Birkin, Pierre Bergé and Salma Hayek watched him strut his stuff from the front row. (As you’ll recall, the film student was tapped by Creative Director Hedi Slimane in November as the face of the Spring 2015 campaign along with Val Kilmer’s son Jack.) And who could forget Rick Owens’ model muse, Jera, who defiantly held up a sign that read “Please kill Angela Merkel, Not” to protest the German chancellor on the catwalk. “It was not my idea,” Owens said. “He pulled it out and I punched him when he came off stage. He’s been my male muse for the past twelve years or something and I think he just felt comfortable enough to do something in a show and I’m furious.” Models, what will they think of next?
