Bec & Bridge’s Spring 2015 collection hit the runway at MBFWA 2015 today, Monday 13, with the highly acclaimed designers presenting swimwear for the very first time.
We caught up with designers Becky Cooper and Bridget Yorston just minutes before their big reveal, to talk about the upcoming collection and their leap into swimwear, plus all the celebrity attention their designs have been getting abroad.
“I guess swim’s something we’ve always wanted to do, so it was about the right time for us,” Becky explains of the new venture. “I feel like Bec & Bridge really has something new to say in swimwear,” Bridget adds. “Our customer’s ready for it and they seem to be quite excited about the prospect of Bec & Bridge swim.”
We couldn’t let the girls get away without asking about all the high-profile celebrities getting about town in their threads, including Nicole Richie, Taylor Swift and Emma Roberts, to name just a few. “We can’t believe we’ve got so many great Bec & Bridge ambassadors,” Becky says. Oh, and apparently Scarlett Johansson is also keen on the brand, so keep an eye out!
