Australian label DI$COUNT UNIVER$E, a favourite of celebs like Miley Cyrus, Abbey Lee Kershaw and Katy Perry, has made its New York Fashion Week debut as part of the VFiles show on February 11.
Known for its bold and eccentric aesthetic, DI$COUNT UNIVERSE closed the fashion and lifestyle website’s show which presented collections from three other emerging designers including Julia Seemann, Andrea Jiapei Li and Ximon Lee.

The kooky label’s cartoonish drawings, candy hues, hand-beading and signature eye and cloud motifs were worn loud and proud down the runway, and a leashed poodle even made a cameo as a model’s plus-one. We think design duo Nadia Napreychikov and Cami James have well and truly made their mark abroad. No one forgets a poodle.
