Unfortunately for this next crop of fashion folk, their dust-ups were more than just rumors. While most people aren’t above throwing a little shade here and there, these six fashion disputes actually turned physical.

Solange Knowles vs. Jay Z
It was the dropkick seen 'round the world . We could hardly believe our eyes when a video surfaced of a violent confrontation between Solange Knowles and Jay Z in an elevator after the Met Gala. With Beyoncé standing idly by, Solo delivered an epic kick to her brother-in-law. To this day, no one knows what the fight was about, but the family released a statement saying that they "worked through it."
Solange reassured curious readers in Lucky 's August 2014 issue. “What’s important is that my family and I are all good,” she said. “What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that."

Ilisah Ulanga vs. Mazdack Rassi
Milk Studios owner Mazdack Rassi was decked in the face by Bronx resident Ilisah Ulanga during Alexander Wang's Spring 2013 collection after-party. Page Six says she punched him during a Busta Rhymes performance, leaving Mazdack bloodied and in need of stitches. We guess Busta's verses made Ilisah want to turn up a little too much!

Kiefer Sutherland vs. Jack McCollough
This probably isn't the first time men have fought over Brooke Shields. In 2009, she, Kiefer Sutherland and the Proenza Schouler designer were partying at SoHo spot SubMercer for a Met Gala after-party , when Jack McCollough accidentally bumped the actress as he was trying to get to the bar. According to NY Daily News , Kiefer told Jack he should apologize for the misstep. An argument followed and Kiefer headbutted Jack, leaving the designer with a cut on his nose.

Jennifer Eymere vs. Lynn Tesoro
Things got way too heated at Zac Posen's Spring 2012 fashion show after the New York Fire Department paid a visit to the venue and removed 60 seats pre-show. This did not please Jalouse editor Jennifer Eymere, who was upset that her mother, Marie-José Susskind-Jalou, might not get a seat. Jennifer complained to Lynn Tesoro, PR maven and co-founder of HL Group, whose hands were tied at the time. Unfortunately for Lynn, Jennifer's hands were unfettered and in a fit of anger, she slapped Lynn in the face. As Jennifer told WWD , “I said 'Don't speak to my mom like this ... Be careful. I am going to slap you.' And she kept doing it and it just happened." Lynn slapped Jennifer right back...with a $1 million lawsuit, according to Page Six .

Tommy Hilfiger vs. Axl Rose
Tommy Hilfiger and Axl Rose got into it at Rosario Dawson's birthday party in 2006 when the singer allegedly tried to encroach on Tommy's space at the affair. "Axl pushed me [out of the way], and I said 'That was rude,'" Tommy revealed in 2010 during a chat with Worth magazine editor-in-chief Richard Bradley. "[He turned around and] had a huge ring on. He wears all this jewelry. [I'm thinking], if I get hit, it's over. No teeth, no eye. So I hit him before he hit me. It was self-protection." According to Axl, he was only trying to move Tommy's lady friend's drink before the designer freaked out. But there's no bad blood between the pair; Tommy says that he and Axl are cool now.

Ricky Hilfiger
You would think that when you're invited to a fashion industry vet's 60th birthday, you would know how to behave. Sadly for party-goers at Mario Testino's birthday bash, that was not the case. The Mirror says that a fellow reveler started an altercation with Ricky Hilfiger (son of designer Tommy Hilfiger, and then-boyfriend of Rita Ora). Ricky defended himself with a punch, but left soon after hitting the man as he didn't want the situation to escalate into a full-on brawl. Good thinking.
