THE MISSES:

Saint Laurent

“It’s like American Hustle distilled into a collection.” [Illithid Dude]

“Incredibly insipid, tired, and overdone. Slimane is not a bad designer, he just seems hell bent on being one note, when he can be so much more!” [Miss Dalloway]

“Blasphemy! This looks like your regular trendy girl leaving Baby Phat.” [MulletProof]

Chanel

“The first section is so incredibly vile…I’m also lost on how it connects to the rest of the collection. The protesting thing is random? What are they protesting?” [Mr-Dale]

“I am overwhelmed with how much is going on here! Not liking the gold accents and a few looks seem as though they’ve been plucked separately from previous collections.” [frackowiaks]

“Oh, puh-lease! Who wants to hear Karl’s political ramblings? He should just stick to making pretty little dresses for the ladies-who-lunch clique.” [eugenius]

Alexander McQueen

“Nope. It’s very reminiscent of Prada Spring 2013 as for the general idea and some of the prints. It’s repetitive, every single shape and cut we’ve seen before from Sarah [Burton], and the fabric – at least for my taste – is totally unappealing.” [mistress_f]

“Someone has to tell this woman McQueen was about macabre, sharp, aggressiveness, derangement and darkness; and you can’t find all that in her clothes.” [jeanclaude]

“She consistently rummages through the McQueen archive and takes one idea from his work – maybe three if she’s feeling particularly ambitious, and runs the look to the ground to such an unbearable repetitive fashion.” [Phuel]
