Leading the charge is — gasp — a Brit: Dame Vivienne Westwood. According to TIME, the Queen of Punk used her London Fashion Week catwalk to get in the game, handing out a statement to editors and buyers that read: “Scottish independence could be a great day for Democracy.” Then the 73-year-old designer let it fly to reporters: “I hate England…I like Scotland because somehow I think they are better than we are. They are more democratic.” Never a dull moment in the Westwood residence.
