One of the cheeriest places to shop around the holidays is, perhaps surprisingly, Henri Bendel. Come the holiday season, the Fifth Avenue emporium always has a front entrance decked with candy (from Ralph Lauren daughter’s posh Dylan’s Candy Bar, of course), flashy, colorful ornaments, and more bling bling jewelry, head accessories, and handbags that even a Paris Hilton wannabe would know what to do with (and as you might imagine, post-Christmas most of those items are offered at very steep discounts).
