The Scene: Always one of the most buzzy shows, given it’s mid-Saturday time slot and its reputation for attracting starlets, this season brought out Jamie Chung, Sami Gayle, Zoey Deutch, Coco Rocha, Petra Nemcova, Jesse Metcalfe and Meghan Markle.
The Inspiration: The “wild and untamed” according to Lubov Azria.
The Look: Max and Lubov Azria won’t be letting the bandage dress fade away anytime soon and if there’s anything the duo love as much as the brand’s signature form-fitting mini, it’s corsets and the two were beautifully combined this season. In addition to cage-like corset and harness work, there were plenty of cut-outs, colorblocked pleats, shredded hems, feather-accented separates and leather and fur outerwear.
The Accessories: Thigh-high boots with textured metal heels, booties and structured clutches.
The Beauty: Tightly pulled back ponytail with streaks of blue, orange and pink, a clean face, high-shine lips and a dramatic winged eye.
The Takeaway: From start to finish this is a collection that requires confidence and attitude and hey, if you got it…why not flaunt it?
