We’ve all seen them: the girls so cool they don’t need to bother carefully applying makeup or blow drying their hair. Those very girls will be wearing Phillip Lim‘s entire collection come the spring season, so it’s fitting that the designer’s models walked the runway in wet-looking hair, natural makeup and, on occasion, sunglasses.
Cool is, in fact, the best way to describe everything in Lim’s lineup. From the designer’s signature loosely draped trousers, clean lined leather jackets and boxy tops, to the season’s wave, rock and fire-inspired prints and surface embellishments, everything oozed effortless It girl — and comfort, given that most of the looks were cut on the roomy side.
Comfort and style? Being (or at least looking) cool just got a lot easier for all of us.
