Rinko Kikuchi in Fausto Puglisi Fall 2013
Rinko Kikuchi attended the premiere of Pacific Rim in a Fausto Puglisi number with daringly high slits. The black dress featured the designer’s signature sunburst silver and gold embellishments in addition to purple lining. RInko veered away from the lookbook styling when it came to makeup and footwear, opting instead to incorporate pops of red – both on her lips and on the tips of her peep-toe Christian Louboutin pumps. The high-heeled lace-up boots from the lookbook just wouldn’t have seemed quite so red carpet (or black carpet rather) ready.

Clocked heaped on the praise. “Rinko hits the nail on the head once again. I love her confidence… it’s what separates her and makes the look truly work. On anyone else that embellished dress would look silly, but she is WORKING IT.”
5 8 6 was also a fan. “Rinko looks phenomenal, she always injects so much personality in her red carpet choices,” he shared.
