Maggie Gyllenhaal in Christian Dior Fall 2013
On the Hollywood front, Maggie Gyllenhaal attended the premiere of White House Down in New York wearing a dress from Christian Dior’s Fall 2013 collection.
Littleeathquakes thought Maggie could have chosen better. “Of all the dresses in that collection, she went for that one,” he laughed.
Moofins was on the same page. “Seriously!” she exclaimed. “It was one of the worst in the entire collection. Yikes.”
I’m going to go ahead and disagree. I think this is a quirkily appropriate dress for Maggie. In my opinion, her only misstep was her footwear. Maggie should have taken a cue from the runway styling and stuck with the levity of a white shoe. It is prime white-shoe-wearing season right about now, isn’t it?
