They were introduced for Fall 2009 and seem to be even hotter for Spring 2010 collections. The boyfriend blazer is going strong moving into next season, but is getting a little revamped. Oversized and slouchy, cropped and fitted, printed and belted, designers took a cue from shoppers and knew this item was hot. For Spring 2010, they decided to expand on the idea and come up with more options that might be a little more flattering to all figures.
The key to the look is contrast and layering. Jackets were paired with vests, thrown over dresses, and paired with lighter blouses. A pair of skinny jeans always look great with an oversized blazer, and a full cut dress will create some shape with a sleek blazer belted at the waist.
