A number of Spring/Summer 2009’s major trends were back in full-force at this season’s Christian Dior show – mainly Asian-inspired embroidery, brocade, and paisley-print along with harem pants, jumpsuits, bold gold medallion jewelry, and a rainbow of colors.
However, with the exception of the pops of transparency there seemed to be very little that felt fresh or new about this collection.
