Ever wonder what an Icelander from the future dresses like? Me too, but for some reason I think the collection from Iceberg would suit them just fine. The Fall 2009 runway lineup offered many options for those cold, gloomy days ahead.
Oversized knits twisted into voluminous shapes paired with skinny python skirts along with black fur pencil skirts and bearskin hats will warm any fashionista in the harshest of weather. Neon colors and geometric prints will brighten her mood on those cold winter days. Although some of the silhouettes weren’t necessarily practical, the show was definitely creative and offered a few key pieces for the young party crowd.
An asymmetrical purple and black cocktail dress and a black, sequined tunic paired with tights and iridescent boots were hot little options.
Geometric prints in purple and red color palettes displayed on slinky little dresses seemed optimistic in a collection filled with heavy overcoats and hats.
Neon colors in fuschia and poppy red added a little pop to the many looks that cascaded down the runway in black and white.
