Vauxhall Fashion Scout is dedicated to working with the best emerging fashion designers and driving them forward. And so, they introduced us to designer-to-watch Inbar Spector. The Israeli-born designer revealed her Spring/Summer 2009 collection as part of London Fashion Week and was the closing show at Vauxhall Fashion Scout.
Inbar Spector graduated from Shenkar College in Israel with four excellence achievement awards. She is probably most noted for presenting her collection using models walking on ice for the Les Chiffons de Diamant Award in France, and becoming a finalist for the New Designer Fashion Grand Prix award in Japan. But with her edgy gothic-inspired look, her collection will be highly in favour at London.
The dresses were structured, and the nude chiffon trend was utilized often. The models’ skin was adorned with black tattoos, and their hair was styled in tiny braids and hair buns. All the pieces looked intricate and expertly made. The final piece was white and extremely dramatic.
