I usually love Moschino Cheap and Chic, the diffusion line from the Moschino label started in 1983 by master of quirky-chic, Franco Moschino.
So, I was a little disappointed to see that there were little references to Moschino’s humor and whimsical aesthetic in the Spring 2009 Rossella Jardini-designed collection.
That said, the collection did play into some of the major trends we have seen emerge during New York Fashion week mainly – jumpsuits, washed-out colors, mixing of prints and solids, slouchy hats, tiered dresses, and sun-bleached prints.
Who would have guessed that the simpler looks would be the more eye-catching ones in this season’s Moschino Cheap and Chic collection?
