Valentino Fall 2013 Runway Review

Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli keep getting better and this season's more youthful lineup was brimming with covetable finds. Schoolgirl-like A-line minis, scalloped edge dresses, painterly prints (inspired by Dutch artists including Rembrandt and Vermeer), collared gowns and dresses, and the house's signature red (by way of a long sleeve red gown) all made for stunning looks. Impeccably tailored lace, embroidered leather collars and Renaissance-inspired silhouettes all added to the collection's regal feel.
