While #NYFW was all about Karlie, #LFW put Cara Delevingne front and center on its most important shows. British Vogue asked the Twitter-verse, “Did you see @Caradelevingne‘s #LFW catwalk debut this season?” Later adding, “Gorgeous @Caradelevingne makes the perfect Sixties muse.” Others in the fashion industry who could not get enough of Cara? W‘s Edward Enninful who tweeted, “I’m loving seeing two shorter models,@caradelevingne and Xiao Wen Ju, dominating the shows xox GO SHORTIES! X.” Jourdan Dunn posted an image of her and Cara backstage at the Burberry show tweeting, “Me and my Burberry Sis @Caradelevingne ♥ #burberry #lfw#polaroidpic.”
Burberry’s Young and Popping Show
Speaking of Cara, her rumored boyfriend Harry Styles made an appearance at the celeb-filled Burberry show. Grazia magazine tweeted, “Harry Styles smirking every time Cara D struts past at #Burberry#lfw.” Teen Vogue‘s Jane Keltner De Valle tweeted about Burberry’s front-row, “@harry_styles @onedirection & Dev Patel front row at @burberry! Andy Murray is also in the house. #lfw #boy.”

Just like its eclectic, young front row, Burberry’s lineup was filled with, “bright iridescent and metallic rompers and plastic capes and cropped satin bombers and lace trenches and trench pencil skirts.” (via Derek Blasberg). While the collection’s colorful range and vibrant shapes was as happy as fashion can get, not the same could be said about the music being played. Harper’s Bazaar‘s Joanna Hillman tweeted, “@Burberry always has the most beautifully sad music @harpersbazaarus #lfw.”

As always, Christopher Kane did not fail to impress or move his audience with his artistic vision. Business of Fashion tweeted about the collection, “A symphony of creativity at Christopher Kane. Mind blowing.” i-D magazine added, “Totally blown away by the brilliance of Christopher Kane: bubble gum pinks, gaffa tape & plastic bolts make.” The UK’s Harper’s Bazaar raved, “Christopher Kane struck a balance between beauty and perversity for spring/summer 13.”

Color showed off a more glamorous side at the Issa London show with a stunning collection filled with bright gowns and tropical accents. The striking Jourdan Dunn tweeted, “The @IssaLondon show was sooo beautiful! #LFW.” Luxury online retailer Matches Fashion added, “Issa – a tropical rainbow’s forecasted for S/S 13!” While forecasting fashion trends is fun and all, you know what’s even more fun?
