Given that this season’s D&G collection incorporated, in a Gianni Versace-like twist, scarves in every which way possible, an extra jolt of anticipation came along with waiting for Versace’s Donatella Versace-designed Spring 2012 collection. Fittingly, Versace brought back many of the brand’s signatures including gold stud accents, zipper details, fitted black leather, and sea creature motifs for a somewhat repetitive, but nonetheless mesmerizing collection.
