This is the type of show that fashion week dreams are made of. It was clear and cohesive without being tacky and referential. From the moment the first look came out featuring a pastel yellow printed knee-length skirt with a pale blue cardigan and seafoam shell, it was clear that this wasn’t going to be a traditionally preppy show. What followed was a parade of beautiful silks and delicate crepe de chine in an array of whitewashed pastels and a great many cloche hats. Crisp white and pale pink dresses and suits flanked ostrich feather ornamented frocks all suitable for chic spring dressing.
