Poltock and Walsh may be considered the new kids on the block and be tipped as ‘one to watch’ but I am already completely smitten.
The label was started in 2006 by Flamma Poltock and Katie Walsh following their graduation from Kingston University. They have some solid experience behind them with Flamma having trained at John Richmond, and Katie at Alexander McQueen.
Their Spring Summer collection is absolutely divine, with beautiful chiffon, silk and satin in bright contrasting colours forming interesting shapes with the use of ruffles, layers and interesting details. I have fallen in love with these dresses, I just love everything about them, the interesting backs, the lovely soft materials and the amazing colour combinations – I think even I might get away with wearing one.
This season ruffles and chiffon are just everywhere and this collection is a great variation on this trend.
