The New York shows may have been all about wildlife with fur and animals literally inspiring designers (think owl heads), but in London, while fur is still rampant, prints have been making more of a splash. Following up the memorable (for better or worse) hats Christopher Bailey created for Burberry Prorsum’s menswear collection this season, he showed cow print hats on some of his Fall 2011 women. While there may not have been anything wrong with the hats on their own, at times they did take away from the gorgeous outerwear Bailey presented and the motif worked best when it was featured on a Cruella de Vil-esque coat.
