DKNY went feminine and playful with their Pre-Fall 2011 collection. Many of the looks feature bursts of fuchsia, yellow, and red. Neutral looks were accented with bright bow-tied belts, and many of the darker pieces were finished with a Sonia Rykiel-esque quirky red lip print.
DKNY has a very wide customer base, as far as contemporary brands go, and this season it looks like the designer will appeal to both her younger demographic via retro color-blocked dresses, striped tops, jumpsuits, and prints, as well as to those looking for classic tailored tops, wide-legged pants, and neutrals.
Those looking for chic evening looks will have plenty to choose from, think leather bomber jackets, cropped pants, and long pleated skirts.
