In a line-up of neutral tones including nudes, black, shades of beige, and a pop of Valentino signature red, the collection showed off the design details of last season with the hand of a couture craftsman.
Ruffles in organza with contrasting hems and lace paired together effortlessly, and a floral motif print spun from gold thread solidified the new design team’s reputation. The collection showed off their work without being overly flamboyant. It concentrated on the quality and design of the clothes, which were beautiful – and more importantly, wearable.
