In the past few seasons, Moschino seems to have lost some of its quirky edge. The Italian brand is still one of my favorites, but the tongue in cheek kooky nature seems to be have been significantly downplayed in the last few collections. The Moschino aesthetic I’ve long loved is now much more prominent in the Italian label’s diffusion line, Moschino Cheap & Chic. So too was the case for the Moschino Cheap & Chic Resort 2011 collection, where the spunky Moschino charm was on full display.
This was an excellent collection with just the right amount of detail. I can’t wait to see what Jardini has in store for Spring/Summer 2012.
