Eat:
Chef Vola‘s: It’s not in a hotel, in fact it’s in the basement of a house on a random block. South Jersey knows this place for its amazing, old-school Italian fare. Super delicious, it’s the place celebs go (their tiny foyer is covered in pics of Jay-Z, Beyonce, etc.) when they’re in AC. It’s hard to get in but just be nice and accommodating when calling for a reservation and that helps get you in.
Chickies and Pete’s: The best sports bar in Atlantic City, and a newcomer this summer. A two-story full service restaurant and sports bar offering seafood and other delicacies of the sea, taking advantage of the Boardwalk seating on the first floor and amazing ocean views on the second.
